Thanks to Lisa

After ten years as a member of the Frensham LTC Committee, Lisa Dancy has decided to step down from her current role as Chairperson. Lisa joined the committee as Club Secretary in 2011, taking over the Chairperson role in 2016. During this time, Lisa has made a major contribution as the club has continued to move forward both on and off the courts.

Please join me in thanking Lisa and wishing her continued success representing Frensham on the courts in the ADLTA league competitions.

Best wishes

Tennis membership 21-22

Dear Members,
We are delighted to inform you that prior to tennis resuming at the end of the month, the clubhouse is being re-decorated along with new flooring. Great timing for when the Club re-opens.
Tennis will be resuming on 28th March and further details will follow next week along with some other important information.

I am sure you will all be looking forward to playing tennis again and meeting up with old friends.
As a committee we have decided to offer a discount to all paid up members from 2020/21 season.
The renewal fee for adults will be £50 for the year and the fee for new members will increase to £90 plus the joining fee.
Membership renewals will be sent out via Clubsparks. If for any reason the system asks you to pay the full amount please ignore this and pay £50 only. Please note that fees are due before 1st April but as we are sending the renewal notice slightly later than usual we will extend the due date to 8th April 2021.
We are increasing the Junior Membership fee to £30.
If you have any queries regarding the membership for next year please do not hesitate to contact me.
Looking forward to the Club re-opening and seeing you all soon.
Best Wishes

Playing tennis for Frensham

We are pleased to hear that the ADLTA will be organising Ladies, Mens and Mixed leagues starting end of May which will probably continue into August due to the late start.
We would like to know who would like to play to enable us to enter the appropriate numbers of teams.
Please let me know before Monday 15th March if you are keen to play for any of the above teams. Please also advise if you are keen to play regularly or occasionally. A regular player would be expected to play 60 to 70% of all matches. We have not been sent any additional information at the moment but usually there would be around 10 to 12 matches in each league with a home and an away fixture.
The matches will be played on a week night normally starting at 6.30pm except for the Mens league which is usually played over the weekend.
Hopefully we will have enough interest to enter teams in all the Leagues.

Best wishes
