Dear Frensham Members,
Following on from recent Government advice and information from LTA (Attached for your info.) there have been some changes to play.
Clubnights and competitive tennis can now resume. Therefore the courts for next week and moving forward will be booked out for club sessions on Tuesday evening from 6pm until 9.30pm, Thursday evening from 7.30pm until 9.30pm, Sunday from 3pm until 6pm. The following information must still be adhered to. Please remember to enter the Tennis Club via the gate adjacent to the large tree just passed the Cricket Pavillion Not passing by the Bowls Club. If you are playing on court 1 please enter through gate to court 1 and if playing on court 2 please enter through gate on court 2.Please remember to safe distance and only use the Clubhouse for necessities. We will be continuing with the court padlock system until further notice. We have been informed that gates have been left open on several occasions.
Please email me with names of guests (non members) who are playing at Frensham as the LTA require this info. to comply with Track and Trace.  Please also remember to pay your £5 guest fee.
Drills sessions are under review (currently 5 players plus coach) and our Head Coach Matt Marlow will be in touch soon regarding re-commencing drills with the aid of a new App.
The Club Championships will go ahead this year and the finals will be played on Saturday 19th September. If you would like to enter please contact Matt Marlow as soon as possible to sign up – Tel no 07835705286 or email info@returntennis.co.uk. There will be Ladies and Mens Singles, Mixed Doubles and Ladies and Mens Doubles along with a Junior Tournament. It would be great to see some of our new members participating.
We have heard from the ADLTA that the Winter League will go ahead in October but there will be no promotions or relegations at the end of the season. Matches will be played using the same structure but with no changes at the end of the season. Effectively a friendly season for those who want to play competitive tennis. Ladies and Mens matches will be played at the Weekends and Mixed Doubles will be played during the Week.
Please can you let me know before Wednesday 22nd July if you are interested in playing for Frensham either occasionally or regularly. This will help the Committee to enter appropriate teams.
If anyone has any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Best wishesSally Young
